It is a small milestone, but a telling one. A few weeks ago the Conversational CMS was an idea we sketched out between meetings. Today it sits in a public directory, in the same list as the platforms we set out to replace.
What the listing says
SaaSHub describes us as "a Conversational CMS (C-CMS) that lets you build, manage, and update high-performance websites entirely through a chat interface without any technical skills" - which is, gratifyingly, exactly the pitch we have been making since day one.
The page also notes the basics: a startup from Wrocław, Poland, founded by Łukasz Białonoga, pricing from $25 per month, and an EU-based project with the privacy, data protection and GDPR commitments that come with it. The three features the directory highlights are Security, No CMS and Speed.
Six categories, one of them ironic
The listing places TypeSomething in Website Design, Website Builder, AI Website Builder, CMS, AI and AI Tools.
We will happily take all six, even if "CMS" is the one category our entire product is built to make unnecessary. Until the directories grow a C-CMS shelf of their own, that is where people will look for us - so that is where we want to be found.
The company SaaSHub puts us in
SaaSHub lists eight alternatives to TypeSomething. The top three are Webflow, WordPress and Framer; people also compare us with Wix, Drupal and Ghost.
That is a flattering line-up for a product this young, and it is also a neat coincidence: those first three are exactly the platforms we have already written about.
